These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of Stelo | the app and all related services | operated by Stelo App, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
By creating an account or using Stelo, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. Questions? Email us at hello@steloapp.io | we're a small team and we read everything.
To use Stelo you must be at least 13 years old. If you're between 13 and 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential. If you suspect someone else has accessed your account, contact us immediately at hello@steloapp.io.
One account per person. Automated account creation is prohibited.
Stelo is free to use with up to 3 active habits, unlimited todos, the classic Pomodoro timer (25/5), social features, and full gamification. We may adjust free plan limits in the future with reasonable advance notice.
Stelo+ is a paid subscription that unlocks: unlimited habits (up to 20), custom Pomodoro durations and daily targets, the session heatmap, all premium themes, and premium avatars. Prices are shown at checkout and include applicable taxes.
Stelo+ renews automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually, depending on your choice). You can cancel any time in Settings | you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
Refunds: If you're unhappy with your first Stelo+ purchase, contact us within 14 days for a full refund. After 14 days, we handle refund requests case-by-case and always try to be fair. For subscriptions processed via Apple or Google, their respective refund policies also apply.
No refunds on consumed periods: If a billing month has already passed, we don't refund it | but if you cancel promptly, you won't be charged for the next one.

We can suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules. For serious violations, we may act immediately and without prior notice.
Your habits, tasks, and any other data you create in Stelo belong to you. By using the service, you grant Stelo a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, and display your content | solely to provide the service to you.
We don't use your content for advertising and we don't train AI models on your personal data.
The Stelo app, its design, branding, and all original content are owned by Stelo App and protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from Stelo without written permission.
The Stelo name and logo are trademarks of Stelo App. These Terms don't grant you any licence to use our trademarks.
We work hard to keep Stelo reliable, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable advance notice where possible.
If we make a significant reduction to Stelo+ features, we'll give at least 30 days' notice and offer a pro-rated refund for the unused period.
Stelo is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranties | express or implied | about merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or that the service will be error-free or uninterrupted. Use it at your own risk, and please don't use it as the sole system for anything where data loss would be catastrophic.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stelo App is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages | including loss of data, revenue, or profits | arising from your use of the service.
Our total liability to you for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50, whichever is greater.
You can delete your account at any time via Settings in the app. We may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these Terms. Serious violations (e.g. harassment, distributing malware) may result in immediate termination without notice.
On termination, your right to use Stelo ends immediately. Sections that should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) remain in force.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration under the DIFC-LCIA Arbitration Centre Rules. The seat of arbitration is Dubai, DIFC. The language of arbitration is English.
If you're a consumer in a jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection laws, nothing here overrides the rights you have under those laws.
We may update these Terms. We'll notify you via in-app notice at least 14 days before material changes take effect, or by email if you've provided one. Continued use after the changes take effect means you accept them.
